The Scrybert Promise
What we do, and don't do, with your data.
Notice
Scrybert does not perform speaker identification. No voiceprint or other biometric identifier is created, stored, or transmitted, by Scrybert or by any third-party service it uses.
Audio is not retained on Scrybert's servers beyond the time required to produce a transcript. Information about the people in a user's life, including names, relationships, and any personal detail inferred from a conversation, is stored only on the user's device and is not retained on Scrybert's servers except as required, transiently, to generate a single summary.
Users may request backup storage of their summaries, transcripts, and to-do items with Scrybert. Content stored this way is not used to train any AI model and is not used for marketing purposes.
The promise
Scrybert doesn't store anything unless you tell it to. From the moment audio is captured, that's the deal.
Your conversations and transcripts are not our business. We're not interested in what you say. The only thing we care about is your subscription: it's what funds every new way we build to keep moving you forward.
What actually happens to your data
Audio is deleted immediately after it's processed. Nothing sits around waiting.
Your data is kept in its own isolated space, far away from any AI model. Nobody at Scrybert reads it. The only exception: if you flag something to us yourself, because you want help with it.
Cancel your subscription, or delete the app, and your data is gone. No grace period.
The AI we use, and why
We're selective about which AI powers Scrybert natively, and we'll tell you why. We use OpenAI because it's neutral ground. We use a little Claude too.
You're not locked into our choices. Bring your own AI, your own key, even a model we wouldn't pick ourselves. We'll work to support it.
What we do keep
We track aggregate trends, like which kinds of items people add to their lists, to understand what people want from Scrybert. That data is never tied to you individually, and we don't collect or use your age or gender. Ever.
